Shu tells Haruka that he and his club are going to a retreat at Oshima. Haruka begs Shu to go with him because she doesn't want to be lonely; she tells him to say hello to his father while he is there. Shu and the others arrive at Oshima. In a flashback, Gai orders Shu to take Souta Tamadate to Oshima because Gai needs his Void to break into a GHQ facility. Shu agrees; Gai tells him to cherish his friends. At the mansion, Souta explains to Hare and Kanon that he saw Inori and Shu going home together which implies that they are a couple. He asks when Shu begin his relationship. Yet, Souta ditch them for the beach before getting his answer.

At the beach, Shu thinks about how Souta does not take on social cues. He stares at Inori who looks beautiful by the ocean. Hare takes off her jacket and grabs Shu very close to her body much to Shu's embarassment. The Funeral Parlor's men talk for a bit while Shu plays with the others. Later, Souta films the three girls from above. Then, a hat flies by which Souta hands back to Ayase. Tsugumi pushes Ayase down the hill. At the cemetery, Shu pays respect to his father, Dr. Kurosu. Gai explains that Dr. Kurosu is the leading expert on the Apocalypse Virus, and Shu tells him that his father died in the Lost Christmas event ten years ago. By the road, Gai reveals to Shu about the location of a hidden GHQ facility. He tells Shu about the mission and to attract Souta by using Inori.

In the bath at the mansion, Hare thanks Kanon for coming with them. Then Inori enters the bath, and Kanon proceeds to touch Inori's body due to her beautiful skin. Back to Souta and Shu, Shu tells Souta thet he'll do it and asks Inori. Meanwhile, Gai is seen talking to Arisa, and somewhere, Daryl is about to eat cake, but he gets interrupted. Back at island, Souta and Inori are walking while Shu waits from the shadows. Souta shows Inori a promo of Inori's video to Inori as they sit on the bench together. Suddenly, Souta grabs her hands and confess that he likes her. Before he completes his sentence, Shu grabs his Void and tells him that Inori is his __. Funeral Parlor and Gai appear, and Ayase and Tsugumi tease Shu for his statement. Ogumo tells Shu to do a proper confession. Shu uses Souta's Void to open a hole on a wall, so they can infiltrate the building.

A man in white is seen by the grave after Shu and Gai left Dr. Kurosu's grave. He appears again after killing a soldier and using Dr. Kurosu's card to open a door. He call himself a Wraith. Gai and others arrive to a strange place, and Shu uses Souta's Void to make the pillars move to reveal a path. Gai sees something missing and knows it was Keido, the man in the white. Keido is seen reading a quote on Dr. Kuroso's grave. On the following day, Shu tells Souta that he is not going to help him anymore. Souta yells at Shu for not telling him their relationship. Shu replies that Souta cannot even pick social cues, and Souta is glad that Shu is being honest despite how distant Shu is.

On the boat, Shu asks Inori what are exactly are Voids. Inori simply tells him that Void changes with the states of people's hearts, and Shu wonders about their bonds and how that affects their Void's powers.
