The young Yui is a manga fan who wants to be an anime voice actress when she grows up. One day, she is sucked into her computer, where she discovers that the gigantic computer Grosser intends to rule the human race from within cyberspace. The only way to stop Grosser is to join forces with pieces of mystic software (Eco, Rescue, Control, Peace, Follow, and Synchro) and her assistant, IR, combining to form the greatest debugging program known to man.

Mixing elements of his earlier Compiler with Disney's Tron (a film conveniently old enough to be unknown to the target audience), Kia Asamiya's first anime for girls is a surprisingly old-fashioned affair. Though set in 2010, its heroine carries a magic wand and must assemble a team of mismatched troubleshooters, pausing regularly to hector her audience about computer terminology and keeping parks tidy. And like Sailor Moon before it, the first season ends with the baddie defeated, but the plot resets to zero for a repeat performance. A curious combination of the preachy conservatism to be expected from a state-owned education channel like NHKEP and the formulaic, marketing-led appeal of a corporate creator like Bandai.
