A character from Ar tonelico II.
As the "holy maiden" of the Grand Bell it is the duty of "Lady Cloche" to sing the song to destroy the goddess. While one would think a woman in her position would be a headstrong and iron-willed person, this is only half true. While Cloche is, without a doubt, dedicated to her task, an overpowering sense of loneliness practically dominates her existance. To the best of her knowledge, she has no one, no family what so ever. This often causes her will to crack and leads to her becoming physically ill.
The ugly truth to her existance is the fact that, at the age of three, she had an I.P.D. outburst and killed most of the people around her. I.P.D. is the equivalent to a psycotic breakdown when the person's emotions reach a fever pitch and a huge burst of magical power is exuded from the body of the person in question. The Grand Bell had also been using Cloche's singing to exponentially increase the numbers of I.P.D. outbursts to "contain" the affected and further the master plan.
