It looks like a bad, late-nite OAV, yet it's actually shrewd and psychological - - it's like it's slicing my brain in half!

You pretty much nailed all of the good points of the series. I think your taking the sexual aspect a little too far.
Maybe it is just me as a fan, I would like a remake where it follows the Manga only because the Manga stuff would look good in animation.
@Tom_Pinchuk BTW When you go to the NYAF/NYCC check out the Aniplex panel, Fate/Zero Screening, and Guilty Crown screening.
Not every show needs to be completely original, its the ones that are enjoyably generic that usually impress.
I thought Claymore was a hentai when I first heard of it. >.> I dunno why though....
I recently finished watching Claymore as well and was left not wanting to continue in the manga, but wanting to read a novel version. The mythology of the world is interesting enough, but Christ is it a visually boring series. The world is really generic and personality-less and the easiest way to tell the Claymore's apart is the size of their foreheads.
I feel like a novel would be the best way for this story to be told, as the homogeneous character design wouldn't be as detrimental and the world could perhaps be given more of it's own identity.
Via duck, vai not a chicken? (I'd be impressed if anyone gets this joke.)
It's a good think you experienced FMA: Brotherhood rather than the first FMA anime. I wouldn't say it was bad, but not even near the quality of the actual story.
Glad you enjoyed the show Tom. Like you, I would also like to see a second season. There is enough material out in Japan for there to be one so I don't know what's holding it back. Now that you have watched all of Claymore, did you read the Beginner's Guide? If so, do you think I did a good job?
Is it me or does Perry Look like Robbie Rotten from Lazytown?
As they say, even if it's a painful-sounding premise, it's all in the execution.
oh...so it ends like the Gantz anime...
My review expresses my opinions on this show.
