Oh Chun Li Where Art Thou?
My fears for this film continue to get worse and worse...
Chun Li Trailer: Almost No Chun Li. Chun Li Poster...Almost No Chun Li. WTF?
Ha! The "all-male" silhouette is rather sad for a film that's about the series' most popular female character. My guess is that the distributor watched a cut of the film and is probably doing everything in their power to minimize Kristin Kruek's presence.

I have little-to-no hope for this movie. The trailer and poster don't look like anything you'd call "Street Fighter".
I mean, they have to balance making sticking to the game with making a realistic movie. Lean too far toward the game, and it will look and feel goofy and stupid. (I can't imagine Chun Li's Spinning Bird Kick making much sense in a movie that wasn't full of insane wire-fu.) Lean too far toward reality, and you lose all connection to the source material.
It looks like this movie is doing the former. The martial arts I've seen in the trailers don't even look that exciting.

Yeah, I have to agree. Sad day. Hollywood just can't have too many strong female fighter characters nor be bothered to make a decent movie about them.
