Chun Li Scores a Sequel, Probably

If Dragonball Evolution has already managed to poop out a sequel script, it only seems right that the just-slightly-less-awful-looking Legend of Chun Li is set up for a sequel too. MTV reports that the film's ending teases a sequel and also hounds the actors to see if they'd return, hearing a resounding “yes” in response. Granted, these actors are probably contracted for a sequel or two if the studio decides to do 'em, as is usually the case with these big franchises, but hey, who am I to complain?


There are some pseudo-spoilers in MTV's article, such as that someone dies, and Bison's actor hints that a “dead” character may return to life:


“No one really dies in video game movies,” grinned Neal McDonough, who plays the evil Bison in the flick and insists that even “dead” characters can be in the sequel. “No no no, can’t happen.”


McDonough also wants director Andrzej Bartkowiak to return for a sequel, if he has the stomach for it.

Well isnt this a slap in the face of SF fans, After the first crappy movie they will just toss more crap in your face,,,,,pitiful -____-

I have seen the commercial for the movie.  Why do I feel when I watch snippets of this commercial, it emphasizes more on the Street Fighter characters rather than focus more on Chun Li which the movie is supposed to be mainly about - Legend of Chun Li.

The only way the studio will green-lit a sequel, is If they produced the first flick on a $2 million budget and made four payments of $19.95 on advertising.
