Black's plan had worked for this Impostor Straw Hat crew. On Sabaody Archipelago, they put out the call for pirates with bounties over 70 Million to join their crew, and they had over 100 new members sign up. The town's people were too afraid of the reputations they had adopted to challenge them. While celebrating in a local bar, Black ordered drinks and told a woman sitting at the bar to join them. The long-haired woman refused. Chocolate went to this insolent woman at the bar for her captain. Aiming a pistol at her, she lied to the woman how she was the Cat-Burglar Nami. Before she could follow threw with the threat to kill her, Chocolate was captured by a giant plant that grabbed her up, then the rest of her crew. The long-nosed man who attacked her and the long-haired woman left together, and the room was suddenly filled with a dark storm cloud. They were all blasted by a storm of lightning. Black ordered those two to be killed as an example.
While hunting the town for those two, Black shot two innocent people who just happened to look similar, and he was accidentally knocked to the grown by a young man passing by. When Black threatened the young man, both he, Chocolate, and the rest passed out for some unknown reason. They woke up and Drip, who's the Fake Sanji, and Manjaro, who's the Fake Zoro, reported at Cocoa, Fake Robin, had been abducted by World Government agents.
They then gathered to Grove 46 for the recruitment meeting they arraigned. This meeting was brought to an abrupt end by the Marines with Sentomaru and the Pacifista Army of cyborgs. These PX-Series were able to out Demalo Black and the rest in front of the hundred pirates they had fooled. Black was taken in, but the rest of the Impostor Straw Hats were left to the dangerous pirates Caribou and Coribou. They begged for their lives, but all are presumed dead.
