The second day begins with a chariot race of a sort, obviously not the best event for Natsu as his motion sickness kicks in right away! Surprisingly, though, he's not alone as two more participants suffer from the same affliction!

Meanwhile, Carla shares her vision with Porlyusica about Lucy singing in the castle. Next day, the match is Chariot where the mages race towards the goal on giant chariots without falling. Gray wonders why Natsu is doing since he has motion sickness. The crowd stares at the unusual group of Dragon Slayers (Natsu, Gajeel, and Sting) who are suffering from the same illness. Gajeel wonders why he is suffering motion sickness. Happy cries that Gajeel is stealing Natsu's thing. At the front, Ichiya, Risley, and Kurohebi are neck and neck. Yuka uses his magic, then Risley runs on the side of the chariot, and Ichiya uses her perfume after sticking two tubes into his nostril. Baccus stomps on the chariot and stops everyone in his tracks. He sprints past the others and Kurohebi and get first place. Kurohebi gets second place with the others crossing the goal. At last place, Sting insults Gajeel, and Gajeel tries to tackle Sting. In the stands, Rogue thinks that motion sickness only affected him and Sting, and Mirajane wonders if Laxus suffers as well which Laxus tells her to keep it quiet. Sting gives up and allows Gajeel and Natsu crawl towards the goal. He asks Natsu why is his guild doing this, and Natsu replies that he is doing for his friends who waited for seven years for Natsu's gang to come back home. Natsu's words touch his guild members to the point where they start crying. With Natsu getting 2 points and Gajeel getting 1 point, Sting finds Natsu's words about doing it for his friends, pitiful.

In the medic room, Lucy has Natsu resting, and after Lucy has exit the room, Porlyusica asks Carla if she's going to tell Lucy. Carla states that Lucy wouldn't believe her anyway. In the next battle, Toby and Kurohebi face off. Near Erza's team, Lucy looks over to Flare who glares at Lucy. The Raven Tail leader tells Flare to quit it since Flare has disgraced him. He grabs Flare who apologizes to him while fearing him. Lucy is sad about Flare. In Toby's match, Toby attacks Kurohebi with his claws, and Kurohebi attacks Toby with his Sand Rebellion. Toby demands Kurohebi to tell him his real name, and Kurohebi makes a bet with him. If Toby wins, Kurohebi will tell Toby his real name. Baccus finds the bet interesting while Elfman watches the match.
