Overview
Casshern Sins (キャシャーン SINS Kyashān Shinsu?) is a advanced version of the classic anime series Casshan, produced by Tatsunoko and animated by Madhouse. It premiered in Japan on October 1, 2008, following a sneak preview of the first episode at Otakon 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Casshern Sins made its English broadcast premier on Funimation Channel on December 21, 2010. A manga adaptation is published in Jive's Monthly Comic Rush Magazine.
Plot
In the distant future, where robots and humans struggle to survive after the war which destroyed the world, Casshern awakens with no memory's of his own past.
In barren and dark dystopian world, where every being alive seems to hate his existence and the evil from his past wants him dead, Casshern, haunted by his memories has to survive and figure out who or what exactly he is and how he got to where he is now.
