Carriage of the Princess

Carriage of the Princess is an anime episode of Princess Lover! that was released on 07/05/2009

Plot Summary

Teppei Arima goes to school one day, pushed out the door by his mom and dad, and remarks that would be the last time he ever saw them. After a brief time skip, Teppei is shown visiting the gravesite of his parents when he sees a horse-drawn carriage barely outrunning a sportscar (do not ask how this is possible or God will kill a catgirl) with the anime equivalent of preppie jocks harassing the girl inside. Because he is the designated hero of the story, Teppei catches up to them on his motorbike and fights them off, sustaining a few injuries in the process until the carriage falls over the side with both him and the girl. The girl reveals herself as Charlotte and thanks Teppei for saving her.

Some time later, Teppei carries a wrapped katana into the HQ of the Arima Group and is welcomed into the home of his adopted father Isshin Arima. Isshin takes him to a party where he meets up with Charlotte again, to find that she's actually a princess of the Hazelrink line. Suddenly, Isshin breaks the news to everyone inside that Teppei will become the heir to his corporate throne.

Teppei tries to escape the festivity after meeting up with some more modern-day royalty and sees a big-breasted girl shadow-fencing outside. Teppei decides to unsheath his large stick (haw!) and engage in a little playful fighting, eastern and western sword styles clashing against each other, when Isshin appears behind them and announces that girl, Sylvia van Hossen, is the girl he has arranged Teppei to marry.
