Teenager Taku Shimamura is transported to the parallel world of Slaphrase, a world of anthropomorphic animals, where evil General Zolba plans to usurp the imperial throne. Realizing that Zolba's next conquest, planet "Capricorn," is really Earth, Taku joins forces with Mona, the last of the Yappy race of dragon-people, to defeat Zolba and save both worlds.

This video features a similar plot to manga creator Manabe's Outlanders and the cookie-cutter character designs that distinguish (or rather, don't distinguish) his other works such as Caravan Kidd and Drakuun-in which Capricorn's Zolba also makes a cameo appearance. Manabe had more luck with Rai.
