Fantasy based on a PC and Dreamcast game, in which a high school band made up primarily of cute and very silly girls is determined to get its keyboardist Jun back for a gig, whatever it takes. This involves cornering him on the school roof and flying him to the venue on a kite. Regardless of whether the game may have made sense, compressing it all into less than half an hour stretches the bounds of reality and results in a series of illogical and overblown solutions that might appear wacky to fans of Excel Saga, but really just seem rather pointless. The game itself was intended for over-18s only, implying a raciness that is strangely absent from an anime that, for once, might have been better served as erotica. The final race between the Mayor on her motor scooter and two of the band on a tandem seems intended to be a pastiche of a similar sequence in Golden Boy. Online sources imply that there was also a CD drama, although this may simply refer to drama sections on a spin-off music CD, of which there were several, as well as a novelization by scriptwriter Yamaguchi.
