Points of Interest

  • The boat scene at the start is showing the outcome of the gunfight from the previous episode. Though, in the anime the crew was left alive. If the crew was still alive, it's odd why the boat is left drifting out at sea. It was in the manga that Revy killed the hired crew.
  • In the original manga version of the scene with Rowan, the girls with his were not wearing the transparent tops.
  • The the manga version, Rowan mentions how Revy once did an S&M show. The anime version was changed to him trying to get her to be in the show.
  • It's not revealed in this episode, but Revy and Eda are actually friends.
  • This episode is the only story arc from the manga that was condensed into a single episode.
  • The moment at the end of this episode became known as the "cigarette kiss". The term was adopted by the series creators and became the name for this portion of the story when the series was later re-released on Blu-ray.
