Plot Summary

Opening Theme

"Fiesta" by Plus

Wendy has been recruited to Fairy Tail and receives a very warm welcome because of her cuteness and for being a Dragon Slayer. Meanwhile, Gray gives Natsu a lead about a girl named Daphne, who claims to have seen a dragon recently. Natsu and Wendy take Gray's tip and travel to the inn where Daphne is currently stationed. As Natsu and Wendy look for Daphne, Erza gets attacked by a "beast" who uses requip magic. After a brief scuffle, the "beast" disappears without a trace. At the inn, Natsu and Wendy are trapped by Daphne's magic after she advertises her special diet food to them. Soon enough, Gray suddenly appears from outside the magical trap. Daphne smiles as she tells them that Gray Fullbuster belongs to her. Gray glares at Natsu as Daphne orders the ice-user to crush the pink-haired Dragon Slayer.

Ending Theme

"Be As One" by W-inds

Points of Interest

  • At the guild, Gajeel looks at Charle who belongs to Wendy, then at Happy who belongs to Natsu, and realizes that he's the only Dragon Slayer at the guild who doesn't have a cat.
  • Mystogan glances at Wendy when she is warmly welcomed at the guild.
  • Juvia cries a river while questioning if Gray had been "faithful" or not.
  • Sherry blushes as she tells Ren to go back to his guild. He blushes as well and says that he wouldn't be lonely anyway. Lyon calls Sherry back as Eve calls Ren back.
  • Erza Scarlet is implied to be a big eater or a big lover of sweets as she orders fifty cakes, one for Wendy and forty-nine for herself.
