Overview

[C]: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control or C, is an anime directed by Kenji Nakamura and produced by Tatsunoko. It began its initial run April 14, 2011 and was simulcast by FUNimation starting April 21, 2011. It involves financial and economic themes and spans 11 episodes.

Plot

The narrative takes place in a depiction of modern day earth that exists parallel to the world of the various Financial Districts.

The story follows Yoga Kimimaro, Souichirou Mikuni, and their respective Assets, as well as Jennifer Sato. Each are Entrepreneurs in the Japanese Financial District trying determine their own ideas about what the District is and how to use it to benefit the real world.

The Rule of Financial District

About once a week, Entrepreneurs, Entre for short, who have gained the Midas money from Financial District battle, or "Deal", against each other waging their Midas monies by using Assets. The assets, creatures who has different shape and sizes depending Entre's future, battle against opponent's assets using their own abilities. Depending on how much money the Entres wage on, the strength of the attacks varies as well. The level of power are divided into Micro, Mezzo and Marco. When the one of the Entre loses, he or she loses everything, from assets to the future. Losing future doesn't necessarily mean death, mostly the objects or beings that supports Entres to go on to their future disappears, varying from money to unborn child.
