Welcome, Anime Vice Lunatics to not only the first week of February, but also to this week's Anime Vice Community Spotlight. We're a whole day into the Chinese New Year. It's the closing of the year of the Tiger into the year of the Rabbit, or as I like to call it. The Year of the Bunny Girl!!
 
News was slow again this week. Though James Cameron is still teasing the idea of making a live-action movie of Battle Angel Alita........in five or so years. Yeah, thanks a lot for the heads up, Cameron. You can read Tom Pinchuk's full article for more details HERE. I was able to get to the Anime Vice Japanese Lesson this week. The lesson I taught readers was on understanding how Japanese names are translated into English, and gave tips on how you can translate your name into Japanese. Ethan has a lot of wiki tasks all set up for Anime Vice users to earn some major wiki points. The theme of this new Task Initiative is centered around character profiles. Be sure to see his blog post on the Wiki Style Guide below. We also got some data on the kind of traffic Anime Vice had for the month of January in the monthly Data Porn Blog. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Panty & Stocking had the most edits of all the series last month.

Great job, all! Also, Happy Chinese new year! (I knew that Bunny Girls would be involved, though. ;P )

I've been doing my best to keep up with my reviews/blogs so that I can have at least one of each by the time this rolls around every week. Juggling that, undergraduate engineering and ROTC is fun stuff! 
  
It's also great to see how everyone is keeping up with posting new things, as well. I've got a lot to check out this weekend!

Indeed, but I think catgirls will forever be superior.

Good stuff from everyone.  I, myself have been obsessively consumed with Dragon Quest IX these last two weeks but I hope to get something up during the week.  Even if I haven't replied as much this week, I've been reading much of the works posted above.  Keep'm coming. 
 
And, yes of course catgirls would be far superior but since 2010 was the year of the tiger (closest to a cat) we'll have to wait another dozen years for it to come around.  For dog lovers and fans of dog girls (Inukami) 2018 is the next year of the dog.
