Character Evolution

Bulkhead's character model was changed heavily from the original Transformers Energon version, the character model from Transformers Animated has been accepted as the general look of the character as the current version in Transformers Prime heavily resembles it. The character was not called Bulkhead until recently in Japan, and in fact was called Ironhide. This led to an issue in the series when a G1 based Ironhide surfaced. The name Bulkhead has finally been adopted into the Japanese continuity in Super Robot Lifeform Transformers Prime.
