History
Effectively Simon's pet, Boota is a sunglasses-wearing mole-pig of considerably smaller stature than the other mole-pigs seen in the series. He, along with Simon, is the only character to be seen in every single episode of the show, following along on all of Simon's adventures.Personality
Although he can't speak, Boota can understand the words of others. A bit on the pervy side, one of his favorite hiding spots is nuzzled between Yoko's breasts. He has some strange abilities: his appearance never changes regardless of how much time passes, and at one point he removed rear end for Kamina to eat so that he could continue fighting; the mole-pig's rear end eventually regenerated. Boota even became human briefly during the battle with the Anti-Spiral as a result of a massive surge of spiral energy generated by his constant nearness to Simon.Gurren Gakuen
In the spinoff of Gurren Lagann, in which the main cast is reimagined as high school students, Boota is Simon's pet and has shown no unique abilities yet.
