Plot Overview
Konoha Inoue, a freshman entering high school, chanced upon Tohko Amano eating a torn piece of a book's page one day. Realizing her secret had been found out, Tohko forces Konoha to join the literature club. A talented writer, Konoha writes short stories for Tohko, who refers to them as "snacks."In her philanthropy, Tohko puts up a mailbox outside of school in hopes of lending the literature club's expertise in the love affairs of others. Despite a long period without any mail after an incident in which the literature club's intervention actually adversely affected the love affairs of someone in need of assistance, they receive a mysterious paper with an illustration they later learn was copied from a famous poem manuscript from Konoha's past.
Konoha faces an unresolved conflict from his distant past that has been keeping him from realizing the full potential of his talent for writing.
