Plot Summary
There are some similarities to the anime episodes.
The Great Plan deals with Pops' writing designs for a new engine on a windshield in invisible ink. Speed uses the windshield not knowing about the plans to enter the Sword Mountain Race. His life is soon in danger as Ace Deucey and his men are after the plans.
The Challenge of the Masked Racer introduces Racer X. Racer X tries to convince Speed not to enter a race because it is a dangerous course. Things get more dangerous as the Car Acrobatic Team also enters the race. Speed finds himself temporarily blinded after going off course. Determined to continue, Racer X offers to be his eyes after he crashes and "breaks his legs."
Race For Revenge features the mysterious X3 Melange car returning 15 years after a fatal crash seeking revenge against those responsible for the driver's death.
