While the odd title doesn't say much, Gosick offers a interest detective show that is filled with weird characters and plenty of room to expand its ideas. Gosick stars our main protagonist, Kujo Kazuya (Eguchi, Takuya), a exchange student from Japan as he is finding him solving mysteries with Victorique (Yuuki, Aoi), who is incredibly adorable and really smart as she is able to analyze a crime scene and pinpoint the right clue to solve them. So far the mystery that is given for the first episode feel pretty easy and didn't leave for any development till the end as it triggers Kujo and Victorique's decision to solve this case. Visually this is a great looking anime. While in some areas Bones could had done some work on, they still delivered the goods with lovely character designs, great set pieces and excellent color plate. Again Bones still has their odd ball comedy that helps add charm to the series when thing are in need to settle down for a moment.

While this was a ok beginning, I do believe that there is more to Gosick with its interesting characters, mystery, and setting of the 1920s.
