Bomb is an anime episode of Heat Guy J that was released on 10/15/2002

A serial bomber is on the loose in Judoh and the police are baffled. His bombs are highly effective so he is a professional but his targets appear to be completely random and Edmundo, who is leading the investigation, cannot figure out any kind of pattern. Meanwhile Daisuke and J are out investigating a weird case. Someone has been taking secret photos of the women in Judoh and distributing these photos as a collectible set of cards called beauty cards. It has caused quite a fad in Judoh as everyone is collecting them. However the cards are illegal and are being distributed through the underworld and Daisuke and J are assigned to investigate. While out on the street Dice is caught in the middle of the latest explosion and J rescues him but suffers damage. J's creator Antonia Belucci comes to the Special Unit office to inspect J. Antonia is extremely beautiful and Daisuke has a huge crush on her but Antonia gives him an earful as she thinks J gets damaged too many times from protecting Dice and that he should not be so reckless. With J at Antonia's lab for repair Daisuke continues the investigation himself and eventually tracks down the card maker to his apartment. Inside he finds a dark room with many photos and some of the beauty cards. While looking at the cards Daisuke notices that the buildings in the background of each photo correspond to the buildings that were targeted by the bomber. Daisuke realises that the bomber and the card maker are the same person and that he was researching targets at the same time he was taking photos of women. He spots what appears to be a new card and is shocked to see Kyoko sitting outside the building where the Special Unit office is located. He races back to the city and calls Edmundo on the way and tells him to evacuate the building. Daisuke locates the bomb and tries to defuse it but only succeeds in speeding up the timer. Just as it looks like Dice's luck has run out J shows up fresh from his maintenance and disposes of the bomb.
