Blue Exorcist Recognition Blog

Welcome to another lovely recognition blog.

Purpose: Like all of the recognition blogs, rekindle the flame into the Anime Vice community and to boost morale of wiki editors.

Once we get the team form and things moving along, this franchise's wiki pages will join the other franchises the circle of Anime Vice life.

Note: There are vague details before July 2011 for Blue Exorcist regarding who started it, worked on it, and more.

  1. On December 23, 2010, Dscythe911 published a blog "A good start. But I still need help." for Blue Exorcist.
  2. On April 19, 2011 - Dscythe911 and Hibaru are partners for Blue Exorcist. See "Finally some help!" blog published by Dscythe. Hibaru published a review, "First Impressions."
  3. On April 20, 2011, Dscythe911 published a review, "It's flames will draw you in."
  4. Around April of 2011 or before July - Dscythe911, Hibaru, and other wiki editors are the primers for Blue Exorcist. They created the pages.
  5. Around June 2011 - More wiki editors such as character specialists and adders contribute to Blue Exorcist.
  6. On July 15, 2011 - FoxxFireArt published a Community Spotlight that spotlights Rin Okumura and episode 1.
  7. On July 19, 2011 - A blog "Blue Exorcist - A Casual Anime Wiki project" and a team vitae list for Blue Exorcist is created by Takashichea.
  8. On July 22, 2011 - Takashichea publishes a log that contains goals and time management for completing weekly, new Blue Exorcist episodes.

Wiki Editors and their main contributions

Franchise, Anime, and Manga/ and its volumes

A team vitae list keeps an organized data of all of the little contributions to the characters, concepts, objects, and more. The only thing it cannot do is keeping track of episodes and volumes. This table will be organized in alphabetical order. Right now, I leave some areas blank since I cannot tell the specific contributions.

  • Added the episodes' entries up to ep. 15 on July 27 for the Recognition table.
Wiki EditorsArea of Contributions
  • Episode wikis: 3,4,5,6,7,8,10, 15

This is the same layout as the Team Blue Exorcist Vitae list. I'm experimenting with adding the list onto the blog using the new editor. The problems is that the list is very long.

Note: The list is edited differently from the actual vitae list to make it more subjective and third person.

4. Kamiki Izumo
  • (Created by ? before this list)
  • Takashichea added her origin, creation, story arcs (ep. 7).
  • Annabanana, Obsidian609, and Juuhachi worked on it as well.
5. Konekomaru Miwa
  • Takashichea created since July 11, 2011 and added the origin (not much), gen. info. and the creation.
  • Obsidian609 linked it to the manga and other episodes.
6. Kuro
  • Takashichea created since July 11, 2011. Added the origin and creation.
  • Obsidian609 linked it to the manga and other episodes.
7. Hashino
  • Hibaru created in May 2011.
8. Nishiwaki
  • Hibaru created in May 2011.
9. Noriko Paku
  • It's assumed Anna created this since this is not on Obsidian's list of created pages.
  • Annabanana and Obsidian609 worked on this.
10. Oomoto
  • Hibaru created in May 2011.
11. Rin Okumura
  • Created by Dscythe911 in December 2010.
  • Assumed Hibaru formatted it and added the origin, creation, and evolution.
  • Takashichea created origin and the background into one paragraph. Worked on two bounties and the story arcs.
12. Ryƫji Suguro
  • Created by Hibaru in the 2nd week of May 2011
13. Renzo Shima
  • Takashichea created since July 11, 2011 and added the origin and the creation.
  • Obsidian609 linked it to the manga and other episodes.
14. Shiemi Moriyama
  • Created by Hibaru in the 2nd week of May 2011.
  • Takashichea added origin, creation, evolution, and story arcs with picture.
15. Shiro Fujimoto
  • Created by Dscythe911 in April 2011.
  • Hibaru created this and added the beautiful information.
  • Takashichea reformat the page.
16. Shura Kirigakure
  • Created by Hibaru in the 2nd week of May 2011.
  • Hibaru did the origin, creation, and the evolution in a nice manner.
  • Takashichea added the powers and story arcs (ep. 10)
  • Obsidian609 linked her to several episodes.
17. Okumura Yukio
  • (Created by Dscythe911 in 1st week of April 2011)
  • Annabanana did a good job on origin, creation, and the evolution.
  • Takashichea added info about beauty marks under evolution.
18. Ukobach
  • Hibaru created in May 2011.
Demon Slaying Sword Kurikara
  • Unknown Creator
19. True Cross Academy
  • Dscythe911 created in April 2011.
20. Kazue Kato
  • Dscythe911 created in April 2011.

*Hashino is out of place and should have been first in alphabetical order, and Amaimon, Igor, and Mephisto are not on this list. (See below)

  • Amaimon - Unknown creator and Annabanana, Hibaru, Obsidian609, and Takashichea worked on it.
  • Igor Neuhaus - Created by Obsidian609.
  • Mephisto Pheles - Annabanana formatted it with the origin, creation, evolution, and powers plus the images with the text.

It's the same problem as the character list. As the series progresses, the episodes and characters will probably need a separate list.

Interestingly, the Blue Exorcist recognition blog is pretty long than Fairy Tail's recognition blog because of the character list. I will publish a historian blog about the episodes and plot summary for Blue Exorcist as well as for the other wiki projects: Fairy Tail, Shaman King, and Rave Master.

Thank you for reading this blog. PM me if I forgot you. This is not an exhaustive list. I will keep on updating this or publish a historian blog for the episodes.

Go Anime Vice!

I'm sorry. I forgot Amaimon, Igor, and Mephisto. It's hard to edit the table since the list format will not allow moving the rows. I have to delete the table, readd the list, and redo the bullets.

@Sonata: @ShadowKnight508:

Thanks, Guys! It was teamwork (well, independent group style)! The third recognition blog for Anime Vice is here. I have to do the Shaman King Recognition blog. Yet, it's hard to keep keep track. I don't how I'll keep up. I'm the insane historian editor. (New type of wiki editor that I just thought of)

If you have any suggestions to improve this, I be happy to add them. I thought this blog was too long that people will stop reading it, but I shouldn't worry about it.

To all wiki editors who contributed: Please check this blog since I may made some mistakes.

I'm so Happy!!!
I'm so Happy!!!

[UPDATE 12:58 AM 7-28-2011]

I just updated the blog with the episode wikis for the recognition table and fill in the current, missing characters: Amaimon, Mephisto, and Igor.

[UPDATE Prior to 7-30-11]

I found Anbumakura and added him when I saw his name on one of the Blue Exorcist episodes.
