Blood Dupre gets bored easily and he is cold and ruthless to others, yet he is sometimes sincere to Elliot, Alice, and Queen Vivaldi for a purpose. He tells Elliot he may kill Alice if she is not interesting. Relationship with Alice Liddel
In Volume 1, Blood meets Alice and calls her sweetheart after Alice thanks Blood for stopping his men from killing her. However, Alice just shoves him because the strong resemblance of Alice's former lover to Blood's face. Also, Blood was one of the first people to find out Alice is an outsider.In Volume 3, Blood and Alice's relationship deteriorates as Alice gets Blood angry enough to strangle her. As soon Alice asks Blood whether he loves Queen Vivaldi as a lover, Blood stops choking her and lets go of Alice's neck. When Blood releases his grip, Alice retaliates by throwing a book at him and quickly leaves the Hatter mansion in a storm of tears. Elliot sees Alice in distress and quickly questions Blood about what happen between Blood and Alice. However, Blood does not answer Elliot's question.
In Volume 4, Blood does not have much conversations with Alice because Alice is avoiding him. However, the two of them have to meet in the ball that the Queen is hosting in the Country of Hearts.
In Volume 5, the argument between Alice and Blood heats up. Alice seeks to confront Blood and wants him to treat her not as an outsider but a lady. Alice provokes Blood to find out his problem. They eventually reach a solution. For his end of the bargain, Alice must not compare Blood to her former lover and for Alice, Blood will treat her as a lady,
