Urihime from bleach roxxx everyones soxxx!!! Oh and the Vampire Moka Akayashi!!!!

Just as Gia covered with great speed to the world, Bandai Entertainment, Inc. announced that Kurokami is getting an anime and will have a simultaneous release in Japan, South Korea and here. Well, if by here, you mean the small amount of the nation that gets imaginAsian's iATV channel.

As much as the anticipation built towards this announcement (as seen on the AV forums), to me, it seems somewhat lackluster. I don't really feel excited about it. Perhaps it's because I'm not really familiar with the source manga (out in the US from Yen Press). I think if I were though and enjoyed it, I'd be pretty steamed about it not being on a channel I get. There within lies the problem. As much as we, the American anime fandom, want simultaneous releases, it doesn't mean much if we can't watch it. Perhaps if BEI will soon announce an online streaming option as well, then that would help mitigate the number of people who can't watch the show on iATV. That would be nice.

This is a great step for anime in America. It's just probably not as big as I would have hoped. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Small steps are good. Hopefully this will do well among iATV's viewership, and other networks like Sci-Fi or Cartoon Network (yeah, right) will be interested in the concept. I'm skeptical of Cartoon Network because last time they tried something close to this was probably IGPX, and they shot themselves in the foot with it by moving it as fast as they could to the Friday night graveyard after slipping ratings in an already-slipping and badly-timed Saturday afternoon Toonami. Sci-Fi Channel, however, might be more willing for this. They air Doctor Who fairly quickly after its broadcast in home country of England.

I look forward to more simultaneous releases. We already had Naruto Shippuden announced and now this. I'm sure there'll be more to come.

We have this inside joke on a livejournal community I moderate: "omg snow!" See, whenever it snows in portland, people rush to their livejournals to post to the community, and we get a half-dozen posts that can all be summarized as "HEY LOOK GUYS IT'S SNOWING," or "omg snow." It's so common now that some people post it just to be goofy, and whenever anything ELSE happens (like, say, an earthquake), people do the same thing to poke fun ("zomg earthquake!")

there are a lot of hot anime  characters  out there chichi, aisha clan clan, excel excel but kirika is my fave hands down   shes hot powerful and strong also them breasts :D  other anime characters will find it hard to compeat

Possibly the only anime character i have ever found appealing.. mostly i dont like the skinny shape they tend to give men in anime..

So i was talking to my boy this morning and we were discussing music and what we grew up with, I was telling him how in Kindergarten we did a perfomrance to the yellow submarine song by the beatles.... now this song if you dont know it is all bout being on drugs... yes I can see how it could be translated too a childrens song.. but...

WTF HELLO??? this is what my generation grew up doing... we also grew up with shows like The Goodies, Astro Boy, Eagle Riders (battle of the planets), Muppet show, Sooty.. SO TOTALLY UN PC shows its not funny!... and really if you look closeley at all the stuff us Generation Xers grew up with it explains why we are a messed up lot! Geek truly started to be cool in our generation.. Star Wars figurines were the first of their kind. I remember my brothers room being full of them.. that had never occured before us.. Oh they had lunch boxes, T-shirts etc but collectable figurines were started really with Star Wars.... NOT just toys anymore they were representations of what was awesome!

SO in a lot of ways... anyone who came after us who is into comics, anime, anything Geek and can be not bullied or beated up cause really its all kinda a lot more cool than it used to be

I've been running around all day getting ready for a holiday party I'm throwing. I panicked, I rushed, I put food in the oven, and...oh look! I forgot that my microwave's clock isn't changed for daylight savings time yet. It's not 6:12, it's only 5:12! Now I'm going to have to keep the damn pork loin warm for at least a half hour. X.x;;

But it should be good fun anyway. It better be, actually, considering how much I spent on food and drinks @_@; What are you guys doing for the holidays?

EDIT:  Woops! I completely glazed over the general question of the most attractive character! (NOT females vs. males). I'll stick by my choice though (:

I sure had a lot of trouble with this one. The thing about anime is that they make every character very physically appealing. It's the personality that will define one as the most attractive. I wouldn't be able to choose one!

So through all that thought, I chose the female character from Interstella 5555. They don't give her name, but if you pay attention, they do give a profile. (the two are the same person)

The Vampire Moka Akayashi/Shuzen she has both a sweet and a tough side to her, she is at her most hottest when she`s at full power.(unsealed)
She`s also voiced by my favorite Seiyuu and she is really cool when she fights, 
I guess i just have a thing for those red eyes and silver hair, cuz she can suck my blood any day XD

This is something a fan of DBZ threw up and I would actually pay money to see this one over foxes.

I finally managed to get 10k on my subs WOOT yeah. Thank god for the Alucard page or I would never have made it LMAO
