At the docks, Kiritsugu instructs Maiya to observe Assassin while he observes the fight. Lancer compliments Saber, and the two get familiar with each other due to their knight's honor. Lancer's master orders Lancer to use his Noble Phantasm. Lancer reveals his red spear, the long one, and he notices Saber uses wind magic to conceal her sword.

Suddenly, Lancer attacks and reveals Saber's sword for a brief moment. He quickly has the upper hand on Saber. With Lancer knowing the full length of Saber's sword, Saber waits and anticipates Lancer's attacks. However, Saber's torso gets slash by Lancer's spear, and Irisviel heals Saber. She realizes Lancer's spear's ability to nullify magic. Saber takes her armor and takes a risky chance. Lancer admires Saber's efforts, and Saber blasts off towards Lancer. However, Saber realizes she has fallen into Lancer's trap because Lancer has two noble phantasms. He slices Saber's wrist a bit with his golden spear. At the bridge, Rider notices Saber will fall, but he wants to wait if more servants appear. He tells Weaver that he wants a chance to fight them all and beat them in one swoop. Yet, Weaver does not like the idea. Rider summons his ox driven cart and storms off to the battlefield.

At the docks, Lancer's master orders Lancer to stop complimenting Saber, and Irisviel tells Saber that her wounds should have healed by now. Lancer explains about his two spears effects, and Saber realizes Lancer's true identity is Diarmuid of the Love Spot, First of the Knights of Fianna. Lancer knows that he has clash with the King of Knights without giving out Saber's real name. Saber puts on her armor, and two get ready to fight again. Suddenly, Rider barges in their fight by making a flashy entrance. Rider announces his true identity much to Weaver's surprise.
