Black Tri-Star

With Matilda's Squadron at White Base the repairs are being finished, making White Base operational again. Kycilia Zabi orders the elite unit the Black Tristar to Earth to help deal with the White Base. Upon arrive the Tri Star's recieve Dom units for the attack and set out at once to attack the White Base. Upgrades to the Guntank allow the unit to run by one pilot itself instead of having a driver and a gunner, this allows Hayato to fight on his own with no extra man. Kai launches in the Guncannon and Sayla in the G Armor, a new unit recieved from the Matilda Squadron, the G-Armor acts with Gundam inside it, Sayla the pilot, Amuro the gunner. However the speed of the Black Tristar make the fighter uneasy to use in combat, and Amuro separates early on in the battle to take on the Doms.

The Tristar deal with Amuro in well coordinated attacks which poses a potential danger to Gundam, however on the final attack the Tristar attempts Matilda intervenes, ramming her Midea Transport into the third Dom unit in an attempt to push it into the ground. However this fails when the Dom reacts by punching the cockpit of the Midea killing Matilda and her pilot as well as sending the ship into the ground. This is a great loss both militarily and personally to the Federation and White Base crew.
