Slice of Vice: House VS BlackJack

Ever since Black Jack started coming out, I've heard a few sprinklings of comparisons between the classic manga doctor and TV's House-- they're both brilliant doctors who hate, avoid, and/or torment the people around them. So I decided to go a bit more in-depth-- and figure out which doctor would be better to have on call.
 
Who did I pick? Watch and find out!
  
 
Which doctor would you rather have care for you? And then-- which doctor would you rather spend an afternoon with? (Or evening, for those of you who swing that way...)

I'd choose Black Jack as well, mostly because he has a higher rate of success the first time around. House on the other hand guarantees you pain, suffering and numerous 'oops try agains' for at least an hour's compressed duration of time. And your kidneys always fail halfway in. No thanks! 
 
That said, still love 'em both ;)

I pick Black Jack as well.  One of the reasons why is that, what's up with Dr. Gregory House beard.  He needs to shave.   I know that Black Jack has a scar around his face, but that can't be helped.

I guess I've never noticed the sexual tension between House & Wilson. =b

I really like your conclusion. I never took into account Black Jack's surgery specialty over House. Still, House has participated in a few surgeries, so he's not experienced there. Plus, I'm more likely to actually afford House.

@Niko: I dunno, if you read enough of the Black Jack manga you'll find times when he doesn't charge the patient at all. Besides, the House TV show almost never actually TALKS about medical costs in any kind of specific-- you might be surprised how much those happy, cured patients have to pay for all of those tests and treatments if they run through their maximums (or don't have insurance).
 
Besides, with Black Jack you're paying '70s prices! <3

It's a good point about Black Jack not always charging, or charging what you can or bartering. However, while Black Jack does international travel, those are likely just for the patients that can pay, or old friends. It's slightly cheaper for me to seek help in New Jersey than in Japan. 
 
And while '70s prices are better than now, I'm still broke.
 
If money weren't an issue, I'd just go for both. House+Black Jack team up.

.... I should actually read Blackjack before I pick, shouldn't I?

But, if it's House, he might assign Wilson to do the treatments, or Chase!  Or ... or ... or Wilson!  I wonder if Wilson/House doujin exists?  I'd die from happy ...
