Publication History
In Japan Square Enix released the first volume on February 27, 2007 and as of February 27, 2011, eleven volumes have been released!!! Yen Press license the series and the first volume was released on January 2010, with four volumes currently released.
Kana licensed the series under the "Dark Kana" imprint, and the first volume was released in November, 2009.
Planet Manga announced they will released the first volume in March 2011.
Alterations
The name Kuroshitsuji is translated as Black Butler.

Sebastian Michaelis
セバスチャン ミカエリス
Sebastian is the main protagonist of the manga, he is the butler and the personal body guard of Ciel Phantomhive, he also is a demon who made a contract with Ciel where he is binded to his will to fulfill his revenge. His hand has a marking that is similar to Ciel's right eye to show his contract. He is skilled in many household and combat duties. He is perfect in everything he does but has a weak point... Cats!
Ciel Phantomhive
シエル ファントムハイヴ
Ciel is the second main protagonist in the series, he is head of the Phantomhive family and the "guardian dog" of the Queen. He runs the Funtom Company, which manufactures toys, sweets, and food. He made a contract with Sebastian to help him to fulfill his revenge upon those who killed his parents and took off his pride!!
