Overview
Kuroshitsuji (translated to Black Butler) is a manga by Yana Toboso. Currently, it is serialized in Monthly GFantasy. The anime series premiered in October 2008 and was produced by A-1 Pictures (and directed by Shinohara Toshiya). Anime Second season wa premiere in July 1, 2010, and not only the manga/anime franchise was released, a few more merchandise like PVC figure, dolls, nendoroids figures, Voice Actors live events, Musicals and a Nintendo DS game was released within these past years.
Plot
The time period is 1888, the Victorian era. Sebastian Michaelis, a demonic butler, serves his master Ciel Phantomhive, the earl of the Phantomhive estate and company. Sebastian takes on any order and task given by Ciel. Since the Phantomhive family have been of service to the Queen, Ciel follows the duties Queen gives him such as the case of Jack the Ripper. Sebastian is no ordinary butler however because he can participate in combat and do unhumanly things.

The story takes place between chapter 13 and 14 of the manga, Ciel Phantomhive and his workers are sent to the Brighton Mansion by Queen Victoria in the quest to resolve a mysterious appearance of Ghosts in the Mansion.
