I swear,.....I can be such a sucker for a beautiful woman. I've written before about how Tsunade has tempted me into filling out the arcs for the Naruto anime series. The girls from Highschool of the Dead must of heard, because they 'convinced' me to work on the recent OVA that was released back in Japan late in April. The special is titled Highschool of the Dead: Drifters of the Dead. Another user had created the profile for this OVA and added some really great pictures. My hope was with the increase attention for this OVA that a nice and detailed profile would be good for traffic on Anime Vice. This was released on Blu-ray with a special edition of Highschool of the Dead Vol. 7.

I watched the OVA off YouTube and wrote a complete summary of the events in pretty fine detail. You aren't going to find this level of detail on any other website. I'll put it this way, Alice shouldn't read this summary. If you're older than her, you should be okay.

Since this is an OVA that was sold directly to the market, it had none of the regular censorship that the TV series had on it's original airing. There is a lot of fanservice and things get incredible close. There's no word so far from Anime Network or Sentai Filmworks if they have any plans for this special in the U.S. market, though it did only get released in April.
