"BETRAYAL KNOWS MY NAME."

That's a translation of the title of the anime Crunchyroll just announced as its latest spring simulcast: Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru. You can, of course, get the most details on it by visiting our Spring 2010 Anime Preview, but here's Crunchyroll's blurb about the plot:

"Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru follows the story of Yuki Sakurai, voiced by Japanese voiceover star Souichiro Hoshi, as an independently-minded young man who grew up at the Asahi Orphanage. Now a high school freshmen coming into his own, his powers start to manifest. One day, while suddenly under attack, a tall, dark and handsome man comes to his rescue. Seeming familiar to him, Yuki wonders who is he and why he has a sense of déjà vu. Were they somehow connected in a past life? And what are these powers and why are they happening? Find out more in 24 weekly adventures that follow his story."

Crunchyroll is simulcasting the anime under the title UraBoku, and will begin running the show on April 10th. Note that the episodes will each be available for only 30 days before licensor Kadokawa Shoten removes them from the site.

I know most of you aren't BL fans, but there's a supernatural component here too-- anyone going to check it out (besides me?)

Is it BL? I thought it was sort of pseudo-BL. I've been following the manga but there hasn't been much payout in that direction.
I do plan to check it out, but it seems like a series that needs about a hundred episodes to get anywhere, so that's kind of a red flag for me.

Why can't they snag the really good shows, like Kimi ni Todoke or Nodame Cantabile?  It amazes me that something like Natsume Yujincho is on there (meaning, it's actually a really good show), and I wish they'd manage to get more stuff like that.

Already said in another thread I wouldn't be watching this, though.  Reminded me too much of Night Head Genesis, which was way lame.  There's other stuff I'd rather spend time watching.

@Kris:  Come on, it couldn't be as bad as Night Head Genesis. NOTHING could be that bad. ^_^
