A popular Japanese animation studio.
HistoryFounded on June 5, 1997 by former Tatsunoko director Koichi Mashimo, Bee Train was originally a subsidiary of Production I.G and XEBEC but went independent in February 2006. It was founded with the intention of nurturing young creators, and its first projects were adaptations of video games PoPoLoCrois, Arc the Lad, and others. They also worked with Bandai Visual on the .hack project. Bee Train is known for animating all three of Mashimo's female duo-centric series, starting with Noir, following with Madlax, and most recently El Cazador de la Bruja.
