Out of the music related anime this is probably one of the better ones. BECK: Mogolian Chop Squad is about Ryusuke, a guitarist looking to form a new band, and a kid named Yukio, an average high schooler. They have a meeting of fate where Ryusuke's odd looking dog, named Beck, is being picked on by a group of kids and Yukio saves him. They end up meeting another time after a show at a live-house. Later, Yukio takes up an interest and starts to play guitar and later joins Ryusuke's band.

They go through hell to make it in the music industry and along the way complication make it a lot harder for the band. This slice of life drama is an interesting and fun anime that I consider my favorite musical drama. It portrays a life of hardship and of struggle that takes its place along with the ride to the top of the music industry. It is also touching and funny which adds a light hearted mood to the stress of the band. Even if it gets you down fight for your passion is pretty much the moral but it's more to that.

I liked it but it wasn't my favorite. It was really good and I think everyone should see something like it.
