After having her memory wiped & body dumped to the garbage city below she is found by a banished cybernetic surgeon & bounty hunter who repairs her. Battle Angel Alita is about a Future Earth filled up to the surface with rubbish, garbage, desolation, deserts & decay. While floating above it all in a perfect clean & controlled society is the ultimate city of tomorrow where every whim is catered for.
