There have been reports of a molester attacking people on a street that Mahiru uses to get to work and her classmates convince her to travel down it and beat up the culprit. The culprit actually turns out to be a young man named Kirio, who bears a striking resemblance to Aoi, who is searching for his lost sister. Kirio instantly falls in love with Mahiru and the two become friendly with each other. Sota sees the two chatting and becomes upset over it.
