Plot Summary
This is a prequal to GTO and Shonan Junai Gumi, but was written after Shonan Junai Gumi. Here Ryuji Danma discovers who Eikichi Onizuka is and wants to prove he is the better fighter out the two. During this exchange, Onizuka discovers a motorcycle and Danma helps to fix it to the annoyance of Onizuka. The bike gets stolen by a known gang so Danma and Onizuka go out to fight them to prove that they are the best fighters.

Bad company is a prequel to the manga Shonan Junai Gumi, this essentially made the manga read more fascinating. Not to give any spoilers away, the final few missing pieces of the puzzle for Onizuka and Ryuji have been filled. As I already became fond of the characters it was an easy read and character development was not required.
The art style is similar to Shonan Junai Gumi but making them look younger was a bit odd to look at first, but grows on you even if it is only a short read. What can I say to fully appreciate this, I would suggest read Shonan Junai Gumi and then this, it will be more interesting that way.
