Bacterian was a minor character in the Dragonball series, and one of the contestants in the 21st world tournament.
Bacterian was Krillin's first opponent after the preliminaries, having joined the tournament in hopes of winning the cash prize and making a better life for himself.
Aside from his super strength, as stated by Yamcha, Bacterian's signature fighting style revolves around his powerful odor and distusting habits, having spent his entire life never bathing, nor washing his mouth out. As such, his attacks consist of vulgar actions such as spitting, flatulence, and worst of all, smearing sweat from his groin on his opponents. Krillin's comedic lack of a nose is what saves him from a humiliating defeat at Bacterian's hands.
Bacterian was also one of the tournament fighters killed off later in the series at King Piccolo 's command, but would later be brought back to life with the rest of the fallen warriors with the dragonballs.
