Atomis of Two Faces (Part 2)

Atomis of Two Faces (Part 2) is an anime episode of The Qwaser of Stigmata that was released on 03/06/2010

Plot Summary

Mafuyu is a little bit miffed that she has to cook dinner for both Sasha and his new girl, Yuu Kuchiba. Tomo sees it as a sign that Mafuyu is jealous of the new girl moving in on Sasha before her.

During dinner, things seem to be going well enough until Hana appears in a catgirl costume with an unconscious and wounded Katja on her back. The school nurse shows up to treat her wounds, and Sasha watches over her while the others listen to Aoi Kuchiba's tale of how both she and her brother Yuu were tortured and forced to literally fight for their survival at their church. They made a pact with each other that they would live to free themselves from the congregation.

Katja lets Sasha know that she had fought against the Qwaser of Oxygen, one who is a high-level Qwaser simply because he controls an element that is everywhere on the Earth. In the other room, as Sasha plans to find Yuu, Aoi suddenly changes her voice and grabs Mafuyu, compressing a small sphere of oxygen in her hand as she talks. Sasha races in to rescue her, but Aoi leaps out a window.

After tracking her down, it's revealed that Aoi and Yuu Kuchiba were actually the same person. There used to be two different people some time ago, but Aoi was being prepared to become a Soma donor as Yuu was going to be the first to partake of her breasts. However, Aoi's latent powers awoke and killed everyone in the room, including Yuu himself. Somehow, through this traumatic incident, Yuu became a separate personality living inside Aoi's body.

The stage is set as Aoi's personality takes control for a brief moment, begging Sasha to kill her. Sasha obliges.
