Their are two Armor Kings in the Tekken series. Just like King, both Armor King I and Armor King II are luchadores from Mexico.
Armor King I and King I were enemy's, especially when King was an inexperienced wrestler. But later on the two become good friends and rivals after sparring.

Armor King I entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament. Going against his rival and good friend, King I, the two had a great battle and King won the fight, Armor King's eye was scratched and damaged. He then has to leave the tournament.
Tekken 2
After the events of first The King of Iron Fist Tournament, Armor King then disappeared from the professional fighting world. However, he became well known in the underground rings. Later on, Armor King heard that King had gone missing from the orphanage because of a child's death in his care. Because he was worried about about his old friend, he went to search for him, he then found him in an alleyway damaged mentally . He then persuaded his rival to get back into the fighting spirit just in time for the next Tournament.
