Aren't We Invading?!
Ika-chan watches a sci-fi movie, where squid-like creatures tries to take over humanity. Ika-chan isn't satisfied with the ending where the hero destroys the creatures mothership and thus saves humanity. Ika-chan says the invaders were poor and half-hearted. At which point Eiko comes in tells her to get ready for work, and reminds her about her own half-hearted attempt at invading humanity. She vows to create a new plan for invasion! But for now she just picks up trash on the beach.
Ika-chan begins thinking everyone is out to get her and starts questioning what she can trust. After successfully avoiding many people and situations she thinks to be traps, Ika gains confidence in her invader abilities to deal with resistance and obstacles. At which point she tries to re-overthrow the Lemon, but is stopped quickly by Chizuru.
Ink that's a Love Rival?!
Sakura Kiyomi pays Ika-chan a visit at the Lemon. Ika-chan is happy about this. However Sanae is less than happy to see that Ika-chan is playing with another girl. Eiko tries to save Sakura from Sanae's wrath, by letting Ika-chan off early from work to walk with Sakura home. It turns out that Sakura had come to the beach with her club members (who all happen to be girls), and they also come to the Lemon. Sanae is even more distraught that Ika-chan's girlfriends are multiplying. Sanae tries to stay calm and eavesdrop on Ika-chan and the girl's conversation, but is soon discovered.
Sanae tries to cover up for herself by introducing herself and saying that she loves Ika-chan. Sanae thinks that they are going to make fun of her, but they don't because they all say that they too love Ika-chan. Sanae figures that even if you are indifferent about someone, you still care about them. At which point the girls ask what Ika-chan thinks of all them. Ika-chan says she is indifferent to them, Sanae asks if this also applies to her, Ika-chan says, "No, I dislike you." After seeing Sanae's sad reaction, Ika starts having some fun, giving her hope and then taking it away.
Isn't that a Jellyfish!?
There is an excessively long line up for the doctor's booth on the beach today. It seems there are many more jellyfish in the water than normal. At first Ika-chan commends the squid's anti-human actions, but after getting stung herself, Ika decides that the jellyfish are outlaws because they don't discriminate on who to sting. Ika and Goro start gathering up jellyfish in bags. Chizuru has the bright idea of organizing a jellyfish collecting competition for the whole beach, since there are so many jellyfish.
Goro is happy that everyone came together to keep the sea safe. Even after a jellyfishing accident, Ika-chan is confident that she has still caught the most jellyfish out of anyone on the beach. However, the scores are tallied and the winners are Cyndi, Clark, Martin and Harris. Unfortunately the way they "caught" so many jellyfish was by taking one jellyfish and zapping it with a special gun to cause it to make copies of the jellyfish rapidly. Eiko gets mad at them and tasks them with getting rid of all the jellyfish. Ika-chan thinks to herself, "I guess it's always wrong to cheat."
