Shin Kazama, an former airline pilot at Yamato Airlines. After graduating from flight school, Kazama's presumed best friend, Satoru Kanzaki, gets him drunk and signs him up for the Foreign Legion of the Republic of Aslan, a desert nation currently in the midst of a civil war.

All because of the girl they both love, the beautiful Ryoko Tsugumo, the daughter of the president of Yamato Airlines. With Shin gone, Kanzaki makes his move to win the love of Ryoko with Shin gone. Shin will do anything to return to Ryoko.
