Arcueid Brunestud
The White Princess, Arcueid is a True Ancestor who has been corrupted by Roa and now must drink blood to feed her needs. She devotes her time now to hunting down and slaying Roa every time he reincarnates.
Arcueid Brunestud is a True Ancestor, a race of beings with vampiric traits, but without physical need to consume blood or hide from the sun. She was tricked by Roa into drinking blood which tainted her. From then on she commited herself to hibernating within the Millenium Castle until she sense that Roa has reincarnated himself. At which time she awakens, and hunts him down.
The story told in the Visual Novel, anime, and manga is the tale of one such hunt. However, that hunt goes quickly awry when she encounters Shiki Tohno, who dismembers her. Later, after putting herself back together she enlists Shiki's to help hunt down Roa since she was weakened by being cut into seventeen pieces. Most of her remaining strength was focused on restraining her vampric urges to feed on blood.
