Oh, and also, Comic Natalie has reported on the upcoming new spring anime adaptation of Arakawa Under the Bridge. I was already excited for this project because the manga is drawn by Hikaru Nakamura, known to some as the author of the seinen manga Saint Onii-san, a comedy about Jesus and Buddha living together as roommates in modern Japan as a "vacation." (Random sidenote: Nakamura's birthday is exactly one day before mine, year and all.)
Arakawa Under the Bridge is a gag manga about a young man who refuses to be in anyone's debt-- until a strange girl saves his life. The girl thinks she's a martian and lives under a bridge at the Arakawa River, so the man decides to join her.
Sound interesting? A couple of key visuals for the anime have now been posted-- and they're both quite different from one another, interestingly. I find myself all the more intrigued.
How about you?
