The childhood friend of Yugi who gives friendship speeches to the group.
Anzu Mazaki, also know as Téa Gardner is Yugi's childhood friend. She may appear to be a quiet sixteen year old student but she's a spunky tomboy who's not afraid to go up against anyone. In the manga she scared Jonouchi (Joey Wheeler) and Honda (Tristan) away when they were bullying Yugi.
In the second series, her and Honda cheer on Jonouchi and Yugi who duel throughout tournaments. Téa gives out friendship speeches in the group and believes the heart of the card lies in trust and friendship. Even though she's not much of a duelist, she has beaten Jonouchi five times at school in Duel Monsters.
