The owner of a large brothel in Guangzou, China which had been secretly supporting The Black Order since the time of her mother. Anita has a crush on Cross Marian and does whatever she can too help him.
Anita's origins beyond her relationship with Cross are very vague. But she is the owner of a Brothel in Guangzou which she inherited from her mother. She also inherited the role as a secret ally of the Black Order. She also has been friends with Mahoja for some time, presumably a long time. Only days prior to her introduction into the story, Anita had been in an intimate relationship with General Cross Marian until the latter abruptly left her to travel to Edo for reasons unknown to Anita.
Anita is a character created by Hoshino Katsura for the series D. Gray Man. She is a supportive protagonist in the series.
Anita had little development given her relatively short presence in the story.

The Exorcists of the European Branch, Allen, Lenalee, Lavi, Miranda and Bookman had a lead in Guangzou China about the whereabouts of Cross Marian. They subsequently met with Anita who invited them into her home, wherein she revealed that General Cross had been there only a week prior the the Exorcists' arrival. Anita offered the Exorcist the means to travel to Edo by allowing the use of her ship. Her only condition was that they wee to take her with them despite the danger she would be placed in. The exorcists agreed and they departed Guangzhou for Edo.
Along the way the were met by a giant swarm of Akuma. Allen and Lenalee were quick to take action, attacking the Akuma, but they realized that the Akuma were only passing through and were paying hem little mind. Allen and Lenalee knew there could only be a a bad reason for this and followed the Akuma. The rest stayed behind to protect the ship and crew.
Anita has no superhuman abilities or particular special skills of note.
