Crunchyroll has this show on simulcast. I think it was delayed. I gave it a try after seeing Marshal and DocHaus was interested in it and because of the Dudes in Distress! project.
I think I like this show. I'll continue following it.
@takashichea: Good glad ya looking at this.I think it could be a good series. Its silly enuff to be fun an over the top just enuff not to be to far over the top.I like how Ayaka Kagari is the no nonsence terminator like body guard. She just kicks but an protects Honoka Takamiya who gets to fill the nomral role of damsel in distress.Tho this 2nd week episode looks like hes gona try to learn some magic.
It has the makings of a good series. To early to judge by far but i like what im seeing so far.Good animation with a decent illustration style.Story thats bit difrent with good mix of silly an off humor.
Yeah, I'm hooked on the series. Though, I wonder if it's a harem series because there is a lot of female characters. I know most witches are girls on this show. Unlike Tsukune from Rosario Vampire, Honoka actually rose up to the challenge and take some training.
@takashichea: Not really a harem series, considering there's only one girl who loves Takamiya in that way, maybe two if you count Ayaka seeing herself as more than a bodyguard. The rest just want to get his "white stuff" and are trying to kill him just to get it, or are just doing their own witchy things.
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the clarification. I'll upload the episode screenshots for you. Haven't had the time to watch past episode 1 since school started this week. If you need help, shoot me a PM.
The rest just want to get his "white stuff" and are trying to kill him just to get it,
Wow, he must be special.
@SpeedForceSpider: I'm at the 4th episode now. Is it still close to the manga? Its got a epicly absurd fights that still feel fun tho mostly one sided.
@takashichea: I genraly enjoy most stuff J.C.Staff animates. This is something special. Animation is crisp ,clean an stylish. Even the cgi doesnt take to much away from the style of the show. An the story is role reversals with half twists an silly vilians. May be my favorite "fun" series as its not dark at all no matter how hard the bad witchs try.
Also yes hes special an for some reason when they want your white stuff its a bad thing. No good comes from being to popular i supose.
@DocHaus: Ya enjoying this series to?
@Bigheart711: The sister might be why its listed on some sites as a harem. Shes got a brotherly crush thats not normal.
@SpeedForceSpider: So it is folowing the manga pretty close? Cause the show feels like a manga that came to life with increadable animation. I dont want to read the manga now since the show is ongoing. But later will take a look.
@takashichea: Fith episde was awsome. Nomraly I like most every thing J.C Staff does. But on this they have really pulled out all the stops. The animation is increadable. The backgrounds are vivid an detailed an over all design is top teir. Just have to stop or ill sound even more fan boy like. But just really impressed with this show over all. Especialy since really did not expect much from it.
Belive its the sister thats caused the harem flag to be attached on some sites. But then again thats a often missused gene tag to. Almost as often as fan service. Which im surprised that wount be attached to this show even tho they are more often than not covered from head to toe.
That explains it. His little sister and Ayaka are vying for his love.
I feel that most folks make that harem assumption because there is a large female cast and a prominent male character who is a protagonist. There hasn't been anime series that had those features without that harem tag. For anime series with a large male cast and a prominent female cast, it's actually quite common.
Oh crap, I can't think of series that have a large male cast with a prominent female character that are not reverse harem.
Fairy tale? Heck Naruto even. Psyco Pass ? Hmm Magi cause cant see Morgana as a minor character my self. Jormangund , Black Lagoon. They are out there . Shonen will have that alot more an treated actualy more maturely than say slice of life/ romance shows oddly enuff.
