No anime No Life lmao, the first episode has me very hyped (Jojo lvl) and I will be following this every week without fail.
This anime reminds be of problem children are coming from another world.
Sora reminds me of Izayoi and Shiro reminds me of Yuu, both main characters from Problem children, now all we need is the Asuka and Black rabbit of this anime and we will be all set.
this first episode gets a 4.5/5.
This anime reminds be of problem children are coming from another world.
Yup was thinking the same thing as they fell an the 10 rules.
OK some things to note.
1 Mad House please lay off the dam bloom ,color filters an haze. Some one there has a problem addiction to these things an needs a 10 step program to correct this.Other wise love their animation work.
2 Story as mentioned is similar to Problem children are coming from another world.Game aspect wise any way. Thats the hook for the show so original its not, but good story so far.
3 How the hell do the brother an sister afford all the tech at the early point of the show? Money from gaming? Parents loaded? Lottery? Kinda a early plot hole.Cause to be NEET ( Not in Education Employment or Training )you need a cash flow even a small one. They are jaded but still need money so where did it come from?
4 Sis has a Brocon going? Or was it the natural blush from a compliment?
@LHWKnight: @Marshal Victory:
Yeah, I got the Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? vibe. I hope the main character isn't a Gary Stu. It feels like it. For me, I like to see some character development. Starting with a strong character as a main character, you need a weak character to complement it like Sonic and Christ in Sonic X.
The color is unique, but it's an eyesore than Hamatora. The sister serves as a morality pet for the brother. She makes you sympathize with the cheating brother.
Episode 2 was gold lmao. I can't go after my sister when she is only eleven years old, plus I have sexual needs, sexual needs, sexual needs, sexual needs and sexual needs.
So what I got from the rock paper scissors match is that Steph over analysis, which causes her to miss specific details, I believe.
Sora's desires surfaced a lot earlier than I had expected, but thank god right lmao.
Also Steph-o-scope lmao genius!!
Shiro is going to be are go to, for when we need a little fan-service between Steph and Sora lmao.
I kind of felt bad when I saw them freak out when they got to far away from each other!!
Shiro instantly learning a language was just wow.... don't know what to say to that.
Sora saying that it would be pointless in the long run to help steph save her kingdom but then when he met miss douche b*tch he change his main and now his goal is to become king.
this episode is a 4.5/ 5
This anime maybe one of the top shows this season.
Sora is a badass
Shiro is an amazing imouto
and I really like Stephie.
episode 2 was epic.
Great plot pace even with out action.Good fast world build with plenty of style. Do not want to build up the series an be let down in the mid numbers of the series. But it feels well paced stylish ,tho i can live with out the color hue fades . Those just feel like their masking poor back ground design an from what i can see they only block the good back ground design.
@LHWKnight: Agreed on all points it looks like again. Only thing i can knock the series for is that color hue fade thats distracting from the great illustration style. I can live with it as it doesnt distract from the story. Used to air brush cars , t shirts, etc. An its just not needed . most of time thats done to help cover or distract from poor back ground work. Animation in the last few years has made it a design style. But all styles are not always good.
Bit of cliches for the beginning of the episode. The only redeeming moment was his scene of can't lusting his sister. The whole boob fondling thing gets old for me. It's interesting to see the siblings have some co dependency problems. Stephanie is pretty much falling for the main hero. Find her denials cute, but it quickly gets old.
Pretty much, the episode is summarize as boobs, banging heads, and horny teenagers.
Episode 3 had an intense chess match that turned into an full on war.
CUTENESS IS JUSTICE!!!!
I love the fact that they are not just instantly winning all of there matches, and are applying some hilarious/interesting strategies.
and Yeah Shiro and Sora's one weakness is that they will be in trouble if they are separated and this match just shows what happens if they try to beat cheaters on their own.
this girl however is making it blatantly obvious that she is cheating and yet they still have no way of proving it. I call bullshit on that because some of the shit she pulled was visible.
also another complaint I have is why leave it on a cliffhanger and then spoil the ending like that.
give this a 4/5. This wasn't just some chess game, no this was full on war.
It was an outrageous episode with a slow part. Shows you can't take this show seriously and Sora's comments are very crude. One thing I wish was that the siblings balance each other during the game even though their strengths complement. Shiro had to be saved by Sora who did everything himself.
They have become the king and queen of the weakest nation and have declared war on every other nation and even God.
5/5 episode. the speech was brilliant, the chest match ending was funny as hell. We learned that God's name is Tet and that the reason he brought them to his world was because he was salty for loosing to them, which I am glad they choose this reason instead of some cliched one.
Also the fact that their goal is complete conquest over an entire world makes this all the more enjoyable. the protagonists of the series want to conquer the world.
episode 4 had the feel of audacity in animated form.
The animation is slick ( tho i still think the color blur can be let go of ) ,but the dialogue was paced almost perfectly. It felt right the timing an tone. It set new goals upon new goals with a friendly banter thats rarely heard in most of the entertainment industry.
@LHWKnight: Would ya say its probably the best delivery of story plot ,pace an dialogue this season? Well at this point in the season no less.
@Supreme Marvel: Dialogue in this series is for me much better than the animation. With out the color blur Madhouse can put Disney to shame. With color blur Madhouse can put Disney to shame. Err hmm well I still don't like the saturation or Disney but Madhouse is doing right on this series.
I really don't like the main characters, they just to perfect at playing games
I still can't believe he was able to move the chess pieces to his side, he shouldn't have leadership skills. I going to take a wild guess, that all his opponents will be female and all them will be amaze at his awesome gaming abilities (and probably want his babies)
I was kind of hoping that Tet would just take away their phones and games, because he was a sore loser
Anyway, I will keep watching
An Eden of animal eared bishojo's! Must conquer the animal girl kingdom RIGHT NOW!!!!
Episode 5, Stephie got fed up with Sora and Shiro and decided to challenge them to a game with the penalty being that they become decent people. Sora then remembers the rule and instead wants Stephie to make him a wish fulfillment character. Shiro of course will not allow that.
Stephie ends up losing at BlackJack and her penalty is that she has to be shiro's dog for the entire day. This episode also reminded me that both Sora and Shiro are in fact Hikikomori's as they went to walk the streets of their new kingdom only to freak out at every turn.
We also learn a little bit about Stephie's past. We also learn that there is an angel that had taken over the towns library and when they meet her, Sora describes her as death itself.
Of course this image is ruined as soon as she opens her mouth lmao.
This is another great episode. 4/5. the comedy was great, the fan service, while very little was hilarious, the build up has me looking forward to the next episode.
@Destinyheroknight: Noticed the main characters names all start with S. An the Blank team are mean but they do care about humanity. They just like torturing Steph looks like.
5 kinda felt filler like. It wandered a bit here an there. Watchable set up episode or least I hope that was to set up the next episode.
