@takashichea: I wonder if we should make this image as a default image for Fanalis concept page

@bigz007:

That's a nice default image. For the Fanalis page, I didn't get a good shot for Fanalis, so I used that manga or magazine scan as a default.

Go ahead and change. Thanks for letting me know. Red and Gold is their theme color. Interesting.

As I rewatch Ep. 41 to do the plot summary, I made this image. Don't know what's wrong with me.

Does anyone know how to make a demotivational poster for this image.

@bigz007:

I added Magi concept page for our franchise. For Fanalis Corp, I did want to create a new concept page, but we don't enough info to make it a separate concept page. We probably keep it as a sub concept page under Fanalis for now. If the anime goes into depth about their ranks and such, we'll add it. Though, I haven't watch Ep. 42 yet. I'm pretty slow here.

@takashichea: Great, I was gonna suggest that default image. I had no idea that Gyokuen Ren is a magi, I guess I've missed that.

@bigz007:

Oh, that's spoilers. When I looked at Magi Wikia, they listed her as one. It's supposed to be a secret. I'm actually forcing myself to forget that surprise. That's what happens when you're a wiki editor who doesn't read the manga up to date.

@takashichea: I wish I didn't saw that.

@bigz007:

We'll get drunk together. Just kidding.

I remember remind me not to go drinking again after I spoiled myself on Oreimo. Good times, I won't do that.

@takashichea: Drinking sounds fun, but it won't make me forget.

18 was like watching a foot ball game that had teams in it i didnt like. So in this situation I hope the gator truck is the mvp. An here comes Aladin all rare'n to go to stop the war. Wouldn't the smart play at this point be to help leam destroy the wizards an free the goi?

Post by bigz007 (1,088 posts) See mini bio Level 20

@Marshal Victory: Nope, because Aladdin will have to kill people if he joins either side. He will try to stop unnecessary bloodshed which is a good decision.

Post by Marshal Victory (1,957 posts) See mini bio Level 13

@bigz007: No one wants unnecessary bloodshed... an yet that mage nation does that... alot. The goi even tho some dont know they are being used are. They did a excelent job of showing how some justify bigotry. An Leam tho reasons for starting this seem shady may be the lesser of two evils. Err three evils.

Also I think were geting to that flash forward bit in the 1st episode of the season. Really hated that bit cause seen the war coming a mile away because of it.

19 was good. Both sides have wrong going on. An both sides have fairly nasty objectives. Aladin did play peace maker in a way that i had not thought of. But not all fighting spirit is broken so easy.

So were in the home strech for the season. Please for the love of all things anime dont mess it up like season one. We got a nice epic feel going in Magi hopefuly they pull this off .

Yo Aladdin pushed them back to where they started, and then told them to go home, Boss.

Muu isn't about to give up though and Alibaba will have to step in and wreck shit.

Post by bigz007 (1,088 posts) See mini bio Level 20

@Marshal Victory: That scene with three sand Ugo's showing up is just epic. I though the same. If they mess up after this, I'm gonna be so disappointed.

@LHWKnight: Yup, this can't end like this... Muu was just warming up.

Post by Marshal Victory (1,957 posts) See mini bio Level 13

@bigz007: I have some faith they wount mess up. Tho as a genral rule that means it probably will. Faith does not always bring facts or even results. So lets look at it this way. If the people production understand where they lost people last season, then were good. If not then they will side track with filler like stuff then rush the story like the 1st season.

Because they could read the tea leaves wrong an thing its done so well because of what we did to the story. Not in spite of what they did. Worries me knowing how much Hollywoods crapy inflence has afected adapation, the latter may be more likely.

we can only tell them...

@bigz007: @Marshal Victory:

Aladdin is like Luffy in a sense. He never killed anyone as I recalled in One Piece. For Magi, I don't think I saw Aladdin killing anyone. He was merciless. This episode demonstrates Aladdin's mercy. Though, Aladdin was indecisive, and we saw huge casualties on both Magnostadt and Laem Empire.

What's interesting is the inconsistent censorship in this episode. When Lo'lo kills a Magician, his blood is dark red. You don't see the silhouette. I wouldn't want to see a graphic scene of crushing a guy's skull. When Mu Alexius and his gang attack Myers. Myers was seen slash. She bled black blood, and her body wasn't really scarred or bleeding profusely.

@LHWKnight:

Welcome to the Magi discussion! This discussion, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, and Gargantia are my favorite discussions.

@takashichea: It is important for the main protagonist to be like that. Some people will say it's cliché but I think it's something normal and understandable... Well, except in Death Note where the main protagonist is a mass murderer.

I guess his indecisiveness is also important part, it shows that big things can't be decided on a whim and that there is always a huge gray area, when one doesn't know what to do. Things aren't always black and white.

@bigz007:

It was natural for him to be indecisive. It was a big decision because his friends in Magnostadt are begging him to help while showing concerns for Laem Empire.
