Second episode was as good as the pilot. High quality backgraounds an art style. Very good use of animation. Has a old school feel to it. Reminds me alot of InuYasha, a Feudal Fairy Tale.
So far it may be the most well crafted show of this season .Tho I like others a bit better ,one can not ignore how well put together this is.
@takashichea: Its a cute show. But not so much as it wil make ones teeth rot. Tho it is squarly on the light hearted side of anime.
Just watched 3 an 4. Good developent , great back grounds, solid animation, good art style, an a pretty good story. This series will end up being the most over looked anime probly this season. An it really does not deserve that.
@takashichea: I ended up marathoning 5,6 an 7 because it some how got missed. Rather some how i kept missing the show. Series overall has a old school stroy telling vibe to it. Then around 5 ir so it slowly goes more modern. Still good but kinda miss the old school feel.
Reguardless whoever did the backgrounds must have loved the work. The detail is great an does not distract from the aniamtion which is good as well.
Yo in episode 8 we meet Susanoo and he was straight flex'n. he got that hair, the chin, the chain, that sword, those sideburns. (Manly) he could rule the god realm with his muscles alone, even Amaterasu is powerless to his manliness.
another than that I genuinely liked this episode. all inari wanted to do was help Uka but she doesn't know that she is steadily merging with Uka. (I like this idea better than Inari slowly killing her)
Also Touka X Uka for the win.
I find Uka's mother to be actually funny in her own right.
I give this episode a 4 out of 5... Naw screw it, Susanoo made this episode a 5 out of 5 with his awesomeness.
